Here’s my previous Star Wars/Disney comics, here, here and here.
So the rumors of a Blu-Ray release of the originals keeps popping up. I’m certain it’s just never going to happen. I think there might be a rights issue, as 20th Century Fox could still be involved.
What I would prefer over the exact release as it was in theaters would be just the movies with updated special effects. Nothing complex, just make the lightsabers look like they do in the prequels. Make the space battles look a little better. My biggest issue is just the changes to the story which don’t need to be explained haha
nope…no issues with the rights….20th Century Fox only was ever involved with the 1st one made….and they let Lucas have 100% of all rights to Star Wars…..When he sold them to Disney, Fox tried to intervene but had no real claim to do so….they’re claim didn’t even make it to court as a result……so currently all the rights to Star Wars are owned exclusively by Disney….so it’s up to them if the original trilogy get’s a blu-ray release
Ah so it’s pretty much just an anticipation thing. Don’t do what everyone wants you to do until everyone’s convinced they’ll never do it. And then do it.
pretty much
