Infinite Energy

It is the 8th anniversary of the comic. Normally I commemorate such a thing with a Spartan Talk comic. I decided to retire that tradition last year, as I feel the comic is transitioning to a new phase. I was hoping by this time, the transition would have completed and we’d be back on track, but that didn’t happen at all lol

I do have something in mind to replace the Spartan Talk comics, something even better. Just with the new website still in construction, I feel it would be better to keep that train rolling and focus on replacing the anniversary tradition when I have the time and resources to do so.

But that doesn’t mean I can’t do SOMETHING for the anniversary. So here’s a comic. Which, apparently, is a big deal for me whenever I can post one hahahahahah *cries*

Halo Infinite’s new trailer was easily my favorite thing to come out of E3, just on the armor alone. It’s like they finally got Chief right. The unnamed pilot character was fantastic too, and I love his nickname “Brohammer”. Halo 5’s marketing was shamefully deceitful, so I know not to let any trailers or meta campaigns get my hopes up. I do hope this is the game that corrects the errors of 4 and 5 and makes us fans proud though. Even if it does, I’m gonna enjoy building that new Master Chief armor regardless!

So onto website stuff. I have been working on a website. Just… not this one lol oops

My cosplay club, Anvil Station, has a booth at Halo Outpost Discovery Anaheim (which I am currently at as this comic posts). I thought it’d be a good idea to have an online presence, so I got a soft launch of the website up.

I’m pretty happy with it, and it’s given me some motivation to do the same for my own damn website! So that is definitely on the plate next. As well, I mentioned a Star Wars themed comic series similar to the last Johnny Cash / Star Wars mashup, and I’ve decided to just go ahead and do that too. Because all of the projects.
