I still refuse to believe that the Fallout 4 announcement isn’t some elaborate hoax or prank. Probably will stay that way until I’m loaded into the character creation menu.
This trailer IS trolling though. It led me to believe that I would get to play as this awesome dog, but clearly at the end there you have to play as some lame generic human. Sadface
Wanna know real sadface? In the first Fallout, your dog is 99% guaranteed to die. You can’t give it commands so it follows you into the difficult end game missions. The only way for it to survive is to be tricked with an elaborate system of energy shields and doors that’s really complicated to figure out. Unless you do, you’re pretty much going to have to watch your dog be ripped to shreds by a mutant. It’s brutal.

Just watch. Download or install Fallout 4, get to the loading screen, and BOOM, WAS SECRETLY HALF LIFE 3 THE WHOLE TIME.

that’s different though because I don’t get to be a dog in either scenario, but fallout 4 is the only one that leads me on like that
