The worst part about DRM, as far as preventing piracy, is the pirates (yarrr) just find a way around it and the only one’s punished are the gamers who actually bought the game.

SIM CITY IS GETTING AN OFFLINE MODE!
That’s all I really have to be excited about in video games lately, since the rather disappointed reveal of the first generation of Steam Machines and the fact that the cheapest one ($500) lacks the power to play the high-end games that were my entire reason to want a Steam Machine.

Also, @EA – know what works better than always-on DRM? How about do like you did with the Sims 3, and include codes inside the package or with a download from Origin for exclusive DLC. They can play offline, but in order to redeem their codes they have to connect for just a short while, probably long enough for you to verify it’s a legit copy of the game.
(I mean, after this and the whole “Spore can only be installed 3 times” fiasco, they’d take a page from one of their most popular and fan-backlash free franchises.)

Well they announced Sim 4 as DRM-free. SO I think they may have it figured out. Maybe. haha

He would appear dead. Tony would approach his eternal rival, thinking just for one second that maybe it is over. Only then would Battle T-rex rise again.
