Guest Comic By Carlo Ostrout
So I’m working on transferring schools right not (yeah I guess I care enough about school to do stuff like that) so I decided to set this week aside to getting that stuff done. As well, I’m going to focus on planning a Comic Con trip this coming summer and that has some application stuff I need to mail with a portfolio (I’m trying to get a pro-badge, fyi).
So guest week! Whooo! First one ever. I’ll share some awesome “Austin’s Inferno” comics done by some very talented and hilarious web-comic artists I’ve met since I started doing this.
This first guest comic is done by Carlo Ostroat who does the awesome “Life…After Death”, a story about an out of work Grim Reaper dealing with every day life such as roommates and current events. There’s also a talking hot dog.
Carlo’s web-comic can be read HERE, and his twitter can be found HERE and his facebook page HERE!

Your theories intrigue me, I will subscribe to your newsletter.
You really can make some kind of argument like this I guess since games are becoming more and more story telling elements. Just look at Beyond Two Souls, which I cannot wait to get my hands on.
I think it’s good that games are becoming more story centered. Video games as a story telling medium are part of the art form’s peak!
There’s actually fringe games called visual novels which are essentially just that. There’s one really good one out there called “To the Moon”, look it up on steam.
This was great, Carlo! I was just kidding one of my students the other day that video games had gotten so advanced that you didn’t even have to play them anymore. You could just watch the action and push an occasional button to change directions. You nailed it on this one. :)
This is, George, there are games like that, and they hit main stream. The last Indiana Jones game was almost just that.
Oh boy. Is this what Halo 5’s like?
“Cortana which button ends the game?”
“The left one chief”
(push)
