Due to a weekend trip and me being pressed on time to get today’s comic done in time for its posting, I did some filler art instead. I wanted to create a theatrical poster for Dinosaur Planet.
So it is probably too late to weigh in on your next video game, and I don’t do the Twitter thing, but I would like to heartily recommend Dragon Age: Origins. So far as stories go, it’s not the most original, but it is deep and compelling. The characters have so much depth and dimension they’re like to pop out of your screen (okay, that’s exaggeration but that’s besides the point), and just the way in which you’re able to interact with the characters is fantastic. I personally really like the battle system, although a lot of fans really hated it, especially after Dragon Age II came out. I appreciate the ability to pause and orient my entire party, but I like to micromanage a lot. And also, dragons. I think I’ve made my point. I only don’t say anything about Arkham City because I personally have never played it.
I decided to start a game in DA: Origins last night, so your feedback helps assure me that I have made an appropriate choice haha I am looking forward to Arkham City all the same
What origin story did you decide to go with? The beginning is vastly different between each origin story (maybe less so for different classes within a race, but definitely between each race), and what race/class you choose to play will affect how NPC’s treat you. And how your party members (as you come across them) treat you. I’ve only ever seen the Human Noble and Elf Mage origins.
I went with Elf Mage. A friend told me the entire story arc of those games revolves around the mages, and I went with elf since they start out a little stronger as mages than humans do.
This should totally be a real movie.
Right now it’s like only fake real, you know?
Like it exists but not reality. Like a dream. Follow your dreams. Just like Nic Cage did.
I can’t follow my dreams though, because I dreamed that I was playing Mario w/ you and you were getting pissed ’cause I was stealing root beer from Richard Nixon and not giving any to you. Obviously that is an impossible situation because Richard Nixon is dead, so I can not follow that dream. (Also I have no clue what you look like so you were substituted by the voice of the teacher in Charlie Brown.)
Film of the year. The century even.
I feel slightly depressed when I think Cage would probably take this role >.>
The tarzan soundtrack guy is Phill Collins I believe.
I thought so. I just figured it’d be funnier to credit him that way instead haha

I swear I am not high just very tired
My voice was a series of trumpet honks?
You misunderstand. It was not your voice that was replaced.
YOU were replaced by the voice.
Oh. That’s even more interesting. I’m gonna be a Charlie Brown grown-up for Halloween
