Skill Trade
Well Bowser seems to approve of Yoshi’s new fighting style. Fast, brutal, efficient. All the traits of the Spartans.
Ground pound is actually pretty common with a lot of Nintendo characters, I mean Mario did it in 64. But I’m just more of a Yoshi guy really. And ground pounds are my primary attack in Smash so…
It’s a fun ability to attempt in Halo 5, though tricky. It’s mostly useful for if you don’t trust a corner. If someone is waiting to ambush you with the sword, you can throw a ground pound down and knock their shields out, usually gives you a couple seconds to kill them before they get you with the sword.
Giving “natural” abilities to everyone in Halo 5 has helped make a much more traditional Halo multiplayer. Halo 5’s multiplayer feels way more like a sequel to Halo 3’s, where as Reach and 4’s was a lot more experimental. And by experimental I mean they were trying to mimic Call of Duty. By making it so all the abilities can be done by everyone at any time, it really balances out the field. It’s brutal and unforgiving and that really makes it feel like the multiplayer from the original trilogy. I love it.

You’d think he’d unload on that psycho Mario for all those times he threw him down a bottomless pit (not including any time he’s abused him in any Smash game either)
Gah I know, I hate when I get pitted against Mario in Smash because even the AI Mario always beats me and he’s smug as shit about it. Asswipe plumber.
That’s why I pick Shulk and just smack his bitch ass off my map!
MArio was certainly made better, he’s a terrific counter on my Palutena but then again she has glaring flaws. But yeah Yoshi is great this time around =D
Yeah it’s nice to have him able to hold ground. I’m a bit of a casual *Brent kicks door down and unleashes fury of judgment unto my soul. I scream out THE RECKONING and he is dragged away by an army of casuals* as I was saying, I’m a bit of a casual when it comes to Smash, I always played Yoshi because he was my favorite Nintendo character, not because I felt like he had any sort of advantage over the clearly superior Nintendo characters. But being able to really pack a punch with him in the new games is a lot of fun haha
I played him back in the original smash before i unlocked Ness. i don’t particularly play characters with advantages either since i practiced with random until i find something that really sticks. like this time around my favorite/best is King Dedede of all characters, who apparently is pretty bad =O
Hahaha as a joke, whenever I play with my friends and there’s room for an AI opponent, I always throw King Dedede in at level 1.
You know, at level 9 computer difficulty, I always find Luigi to be more of a problem than Mario. I always play the fast, button-mashing characters though, like Pikachu or Greninja, so that might just be based on my play style.
See my problem is I just mash buttons no matter which character I’m playing hahaha
Or stand on the edge and eat people into an egg of the side. Which has worked before to my amusement.
That is a most devious strategy and I appreciate it.
It has proven most hilarious.
