Quantum of Checkpoints

Last time I did this gag, themed around Halo 4, it was shared by the Escapist on their facebook page, and pissed off their entire readership. The comments and messages I received for it were interesting to say the least.

When I was playing Halo 4 through for the first time I decided to go all out and played Legendary when normally I do a play through on Normal mode first to get to know the maps and find stuff without having a ton of enemies shooting at me back…but I was feeling brave so I jumped straight into 4….there was a part where you have to repel boarders on the Infinity and I got a checkpoint with almost no health and no real ammo and I right before a boarding party attacks….I played through that part like 100 times and finally nailed it….only to turn toward the exit and see a turret sitting there behind a blast shield….I only had two thoughts at that point….1) “WOW!…This could have been so much easier…an 2) “This is why I play through normal first to learn the maps”

I always go through on heroic first. Get a challenge that makes the first play through last a little longer, but not too tough. A huge critique of 4 that I had was there wasn’t enough ammo. Guns that enemies dropped would despawn if left undisturbed, so when you backtracked to find a new weapon, there wouldn’t be any.

Where would you place Austin’s skill at Halo?

Due to the sheer amount of time he spends playing it, naturally he’s better than most gamers. He however has trouble against pro MLG level players.

I think one of the guest comics had Mrs. Rich being one of the players who could beat him, that’s become a headcanon with me with her being the best Halo player in Easton And Austin being runner up to her XD

Hahha Yeah I really liked that comic. It was a good joke that really fit into my comics.
