So is yarn a genre now? Like first Kirby’s Epic Yarn and now Yoshi’s Wooly World. Then there’s Unravel announced at E3 as well.

I’m not being critical, both games look amazing. Unravel is kind of an exception, as only the character is yarn based. Kirby and the new Yoshi game however involve the entire world being constructed of wool based product, and I’m just curious as to how Nintendo even came to the decision to run with this art aesthetic.
