Special thanks to comic reader and friend Aaron Tello-Warton for helping me make this year’s Spartan Talk comic. I’d previously been able to do it through splitscreen but 343 was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

So my comic has lasted five years. That kinda hit me a few days ago.

I’ve been reflecting a lot on my comic. I realize it’s no where near where I thought it would be when I started it in 2011. I guess I had some unrealistic expectations and set myself up for major disappointment. But I’ve accomplished things I never even thought about. Its surprising what type of things end up becoming important over the years.

I’m still really down on myself over cutting back the number of comics. But I have some good news. I’m going to launch the story arc next Monday! It’s a bit early and its not even done, but I think I’ll be able to finish it in time. When the comics are already type penciled, they’re not hard to dish out. I could do two a day sometimes.

So I hope you enjoy the new story arc. And to celebrate five years, in the next story arc I am inserting fans into the background as students at Washington Union high school! If you haven’t yet, please send me a pic of yourself either on facebook or email so I can get you in one!

Again, thank you so much for reading and supporting this project. It really means a lot. The official five year anniversary is the 31st, I’ll try to make some art to post that day as well!
