So today I tested out a new prank and just thought it’d be funny to share it with all of you. Nothing special, but well worth the laugh and confusion you install in the person you prank.

First decide who you’re going to play the prank on. Not that this is much a challenge to locate, but they need to have a cell phone they regularly text with. Wait for the moment that the person lets their guard down, and gain possession of their phone. Best recommended for if the person leaves the room, that way they wont see you messing around with it.

Once you have it, go into their contacts. If you are already in their contacts, change your name in it to “Darth Vader”. You may want to then re-add your name into the contacts just to avoid the person wondering where your name went, with a fake number like 1234 or something. If you aren’t already in their contacts, even better. Less work. Also, while in there, delete your text history with the person. There isn’t much of a way of preventing the person from seeing “Darth Vader” in their contacts if they decide to look through them and pass by the “D” section, so just pray he or she doesn’t until you go through with the prank.

Alternately, you can have someone close to the person, such as boyfriend/girlfriend or relative, do this for you, since they are more around the person. Plus, some couples are okay with the other going through their phone, so they wont think anything of it if their boyfriend/girlfriend is looking around on it. If you do this though, you may want to wait a little while. Try having the bf/gf do it right before the target goes to sleep, that way he/she will have forgotten about the bf/gf messing with the phone. Otherwise, as soon as you go through with the prank, the target will remember their phone being looked at, thus weakening the confusion. (The funnest part of this prank is how confused they are, so bare with me)

Now once your target has your number in their phone, but under the name “Darth Vader”, and previous text history is deleted, proceed to text the person with quotes from the Dark Lord himself. It’s best to start with the iconic “I am your father.”

Other good quotes are:

“Search your feelings, you know that it is true.”

“Join me, and together, we can rule the galaxy as father and son.”

“I find your lack of faith disturbing.”

“Hmm…the force is strong with this one.”

“You are a part of the rebel alliance, and a traitor!”

Don’t do them all at once. Go one at a time. If they don’t reply for a while, send another. If you know the person’s schedule, try to text them when they’re in class or at work, just cause it’s funniest to confuse people when they’re trying to concentrate! ^_^
